We’ve now been to Culinary Highest Intuition (Chi) several times, and it has been incredible every single visit. The oxtail was the first thing that got our attention. The flavor is deep, rich, and clearly made with real care. Even the rice has its own flavor and really completes the dish. Since then, we’ve tried more of the menu. The Spanish pulled pork was excellent, and my wife had a surf and turf special with shrimp, scallops, and steak… she said it was the best steak she’s ever had. My mother-in-law ordered the shrimp and grits on her first visit, and now she gets it every time. She absolutely loves it. And the chocolate cake… simply amazing. What really makes this place stand out is the people. The owner is genuinely warm, and seeing his daughters there as part of the restaurant just adds the extra touch. You can feel the care behind everything they’re doing. Hands down, the best food around.
What a gem! We love to try new things and this family owned restaurant did not disappoint. The owner and chef is passionate about bringing authentic international food to each dish. Everything was fresh and made from scratch. The salad dressing was so delicious. I could drink it!
The chef proprietor is gifted. Truly. In his organic culinary creations, his hospitable manner and in his interest in serving the surrounding community. Excellent chimichurri skirt salad, pork chop and beef tacos. And the freshly extracted organic juice -- exquisite! What a great place to relax and enjoy a well-crafted meal and break up a road trip.
Fantastic lunch today. We split the lentil and chorizo soup followed by the jerk chicken lunch and the chicken blt. Super fresh, flavorful and generous portions! Comforting like a home cooked meal. Service was phenomenal. Can’t wait to try more menu items.
Everyone who works and is apart of this establishment are wonderful. The flavors of the food mixed in with the welcoming atmosphere will make anyone want to come back. This one of few places in town where you can eat a nice warm home cooked meal and not feel sluggish afterwards. Would highly recommend if you live here or are just visiting. I would give higher stars if I could.
Small place in a small strip off 40 was very surprising. Clean and friendly staff. I got the jerk chicken which was really good, tender, juicy and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place. If you have an hour for your lunch break I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s a little slow. But worth it!
On a roadtrip and quickly searched for a spot we could stop for a late lunch. From the moment we walked in, we knew this family-run gem was something special. The vibe is warm, intentional, and full of heart — the kind of place where the food nourishes you and the people make you feel at home. We started with The Buzz, a fresh-pressed juice that was as vibrant and energizing as its name. The hummus plate was beautifully done — creamy, flavorful, and paired with cucumber, tomatoes, red onion and pita. But the real magic? When the chef offered to make us something off-menu. (Pro-tip: If a chef ever offers to make you something not on the menu — say yes. It’ll be the best thing you eat.) What came out was a soulful dish of rice, beans, and veggies, seasoned to perfection. Plus, a lovely side of Plantain. We loved everything about our visit. Even though we were in a bit of a rush to get back on the road to make it to our destination nearly 6 hours away, we are so happy to have discovered a new favorite. We will be back next time we’re passing through! You should too. You won’t be disappointed!
Food, atmosphere, service all amazing. The Jerk Pork Chops and Fish Tacos are 10/10! You have to try the fresh pressed juice when you visit!
